Central Health is asking Travis County residents and members of the community to weigh in on the results of its independent performance review at a public meeting on March 19, according to a news release from the public health entity.

Central Health’s performance was deemed “above-average” in the summarized performance report from Germane Solutions, the firm hired to conduct the review.

Recommendations from Germane Solutions focused on increasing communication with the public, coordination with philanthropies, and access to specialized physicians.

Monday’s public meeting will include a presentation led by representatives from Germane Solutions on the key findings of the report followed by facilitated round table discussions to provide input on the firm’s recommendations and other ways Central Health can serve the needs of the community, the release said.

The meeting will take place at Central Health Board Room at 111 East Cesar Chavez Street from 5:30-7 p.m.
