Home sales and median home prices were mostly down year over year across the North-Northwest Austin market, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

In September, only one more home was sold in ZIP code 78727 than last year. The other ZIP codes in the market all had fewer home sales compared to last year, with sales in 78729 dropping the most at 56%.

Median home prices were also down across the market except for ZIP code 78750, which saw a 31% increase—jumping from $535,000 to just over $700,000.

One trend remained consistent across the market: the average number of days homes spent on the market. Homes in all North-Northwest Austin ZIP codes stayed on the market longer in September compared to last year, with homes in 78750 and 78729 lingering for over twice as many days as last year.
