Presented by the German-Texan Heritage Society, this year’s Oktoberfest will have German food and drinks, family-friendly fall activities and performances by Yodel Blitz, Walburg Boys and Off the Grid.Formula 1 United States Grand Prix

The 2024 Formula 1 Pirelli United States Grand Prix will return to the Circuit of the Americas for another year. This year’s live music entertainment following the race events will be Eminem and Sting.Brewtoberfest

The annual Roots & Wings Festival is a series of family-friendly educational events spanning two weeks focusing on trees, plants, fungi, soil health, pollinators, birds, bats and more. 2024 Livestrong Challenge

At this fundraiser for cancer research, cyclists can choose to enter 20- to 100-mile routes through Downtown Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Runners and walkers will can enter a timed 5K or 10K route around Lady Bird Lake. All courses end at Auditorium Shores where there will be food and drinks.

Halloween Children’s Concert

The Austin Symphony Orchestra will host its annual Halloween Children’s Concert at the Long Center’s Dell Hall. The event will begin with kid-friendly Halloween activities on the H-E-B Terrace. This year’s concert will feature “The Composer is Dead,” a musical murder mystery where every member of the orchestra is a suspect. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes as there will be a contest with prizes.Viva La Vida Festival and Parade


The Mexic-Arte Museum’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration downtown will have music, dancers, a parade, an art market, food and drinks and more. The event will begin with the Viva la Vida Parade at noon.
