With all precincts reporting, Rep. Michael McCaul will keep his seat in U.S. Representative District 10. McCaul received a total of 178,926 votes, or 57.37 percent of the vote. Democratic opponent Tawana Cadien received 38.39 percent of the vote with 119,728 votes. Bill Kelsey, the Libertarian candidate, received just over 4 percent of the vote with 13,174 votes.

After a projected win, Rep. Michael McCaul thanked voters for their continued support in a statement.

"Thank you for your continued support and faith in me to represent you in the nation's Capitol," McCaul said. "It has been my honor to do so over the past 12 years, and I look forward to continuing to fight for you and you family for another term. My focus will remain bringing forth policies to help improve your way of life—policies that encourage economic prosperity, protect the homeland, secure our borders, and uphold the Constitution. ... God bless Texas, and God bless the United States of America."

Incumbent Michael McCaul likely winner in U.S. Representative District 10 race

With 83.23 percent of precincts reporting in the state, Rep. Michael McCaul is the likely winner for U.S. Representative District 10 with 171,414 total votes. McCaul has received 58.01 percent of the vote, ahead of Tawana Cadien’s 37.93 percent and Bill Kelsey’s 4.05 percent of the vote. McCaul could not be reached for comment Tuesday night.

With 70.39 percent of precincts reporting in the state, Rep. Michael McCaul leads the race for U.S. Representative District 10 with 155,157 total votes. McCaul has received 57.57 percent of the vote, ahead of Tawana Cadien's 38.41 percent and Bill Kelsey's 4.01 percent of the vote.

With 54.05 percent of precincts reporting in the state, Rep. Michael McCaul leads the race for U.S. Representative District 10 with 146,388 total votes. McCaul has received 56.94 percent of the vote, ahead of Tawana Cadien's 39.07 percent and Bill Kelsey's 3.98 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Michael McCaul leads race for U.S. Rep District 10 with 30% of precincts reporting

With 30.82 percent of precincts reporting in the state, Rep. Michael McCaul leads the race with 57.38 percent of the vote. McCaul has received 138,262 total votes. Opponents Tawana Cadien and Bill Kelsey have received a respective 38.88 percent and 3.72 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Michael McCaul leads race for U.S. Representative District 10 according to early voting

Rep. Michael McCaul leads Democratic opponent Tawana Cadien and Libertarian candidate Bill Kelsey in early voting totals with 125,659 votes, or 56.31 percent of counted votes. Cadien has received 89,244 votes, and Kelsey has received 8,222 votes.

Early votes were cast from Oct. 24-Nov. 4. It is unclear whether all early votes in counties across District 10 have been accounted for.

McCaul, Cadien and Kelsey vie for U.S. Representative District 10

Incumbent Republican Michael McCaul is running against Democratic candidate Tawana Cadien and Libertarian candidate Bill Kelsey for U.S. Representative District 10. McCaul has served six terms as a congressman. U.S. representatives are elected to serve two-year terms.
