  FM 1460 Roadway expansion[/caption]

1. FM 1460

Construction to widen FM 1460 from Quail Valley Drive in Georgetown to just north of University Boulevard in Round Rock continues. The project includes realigning a portion of the roadway east of the current roadway at Quail Valley. The new section of the roadway will reconnect with the current alignment at SE Inner Loop. The project also includes signal and bridge improvements and is overseen by the Texas Department of Transportation.

Snead Drive Road widening[/caption]

2. Snead Drive

The city of Georgetown project to widen Snead Drive between SE Inner Loop and Airborn Circle is expected to be substantially completed in mid-May. The construction, which included wastewater infrastructure and drainage improvements as well as relocating a water line, is expected to provide infrastructure for economic development in the area and be completed in late June.

3. FM 972

TxDOT is rehabilitating pavement, adding shoulders and improving safety along FM 972 from I-35 to Hwy. 95 north of Granger. The project is divided into two phases. The first, between I-35 and just west of CR 150, is under construction and could be completed in June 2017. A timeline has not been established for Phase 2.

4. Jim Hogg Road/Williams Drive intersection improvements

Crews have installed the new traffic signals at Jim Hogg Road and Williams Drive. The project will widen Jim Hogg at Williams to three lanes. The project is expected to improve access for residents and for employees at the new City Services Center.

Timeline: February-summer 2016 Cost: $725,000 Funding sources: city of Georgetown
