The City of Hutto will participate in the reconstruction of Limmer Loop (CR 164) and will be responsible for financing the two miles of road annexed into the city, officials announced April 10.

The Hutto City Council approved a local agreement with Williamson County April 2 to repair the road, which has deteriorated in several areas, according to city documents.

Hutto's construction cost will be $1.7 million, according to the documents. A portion of the cost will be paid through annual installments of $100,000 for seven years and the remainder will be reimbursed from Hutto's not-obligated portion of the Williamson County Landfill fund, according to a city press release.
