By late summer Austin Regional Clinic will offer gynecological services at its Far West location.

Clinic Manager Ronnie Castello said by the Far West clinic will have the most specialties offered at any ARC location. The addition will be convenient for patients needing multiple tests, she said.

"Someone can come in and get an annual [exam], bone density [test] and mammogram, get that all done," she said. "It's like one-stop shopping."

ARC has already started construction on reconfiguring part of the Far West location for the new gynecology area. Castello said ARC will be able to see patients for yearly exams, treat hormone or other gynecological issues, and discuss contraception options.
