Key decisions in 2011

  • Authorized the development of a countywide transportation master plan
  • Approved a collective bargaining agreement between the county and most county law enforcement officers
  • Authorized updating the county's master parks plan to include open space acquired through the 2007 Parks Bond Fund
  • Adopted a Fiscal Year 2012 budget of approximately $221.5 million, down from the FY2011 budget of $243,511.99, and set the tax rate at $0.4691, down slightly from the FY2011 tax rate of $0.4692
  • Issued a resolution in support of developing a model for a single, countywide 911/dispatch Public Safety Answering Point
