The details
The free, family event will take place on Sept. 23 from 9-11 a.m. on Playground Drive in Landa Park.
Those attending will be able to see and interact with city vehicles including fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, garbage trucks and construction equipment.
Participants will also have the chance to meet the people who operate the vehicles, like police officers, firefighters, paramedics and solid waste and recycling workers.

According to the city, the first 30 minutes of the event will be “sensory friendly” and not have flashing lights, sirens, horns or loud music. The event is sponsored by Bluebonnet Ford, Camp FIMFO and Riverside ER.
