What you need to know
On election day, voters must vote at a location designated for the county they live in, according to the city’s website. Williamson County voters can vote at the Leander Public Library, and Travis County voters can vote at Whitestone Elementary School.
Voters can use a range of documents to identify themselves at the polls. A Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Texas election identification certificate issued by DPS or a Texas personal identification card issued by DPS can all serve as needed identification to vote. A full list of acceptable documentation can be found at www.votetexas.gov.
A full list of voting locations can be found on the city’s website.
