The overview
The project involves repairing and upgrading city streets, including Eanes School Road, Camp Craft Road, Redbud Trail, Westlake Drive, Laurel Valley Road and Yaupon Valley Road.
Construction work began last summer for the project, which has a total budget of $11.8 million, according to city documents.
What’s happening?
As of West Lake Hills’ April 23 council meeting, construction work on Eanes School Road has been completed, and the road is now open to traffic.
Speed cushions have been installed on Redbud Trail and repairs including gutter work and water valve adjustments are being completed on Yaupon Valley Road.
Work on Camp Craft Road continues as expected, with reopening expected no later than July 31, Building and Development Services Director Jennifer Bills said.
Punchlist work, including water valve box adjustments and miscellaneous pavement repairs, is also being completed on Laurel Valley Road and Westlake Drive, along with Redbud Trail and Yaupon Valley Drive, according to city documents.
