Fear Fair at Sign Bar
Fear Fair at Sign Bar is returning for the second year, bringing a maze, live actors, photo opportunities and themed cocktails. Visitors can also book a daytime, family-friendly matinee walkthrough without live actors. Sign Bar will host a Witchy Vendor Market on Oct. 15 from 7-10 p.m.

Viva la Vida Festival & Parade
Mexic-Arte Museum will host its 43rd annual Viva la Vida Festival & Parade in downtown Austin, celebrating Día de los Muertos. The festival will begin with a Grand Procession at noon, followed by traditional foods, art activities, local artists, retail offerings, a low-rider exhibition and live performances.
Día de los Muertos
Waterloo Greenway is hosting a Día de los Muertos celebration at Moody Amphitheater. The event will include a main ofrenda and pet altar, traditional dances, ballet folklorico, mariachi performances, face painting, food, and an artisan market.
Bastrop
Pumpkin Patch and Trunk-or-Treat party
The annual pumpkin patch will include train rides, bounce houses, giant slides, pumpkin painting, a children’s activity zone, local vendors and food. The venue will also host a free trunk-or-treat Oct. 23 at the patch with decorated booths and vehicles handing out candy and other treats.
Spooks & Scandals Walking Tour
A dusk walking tour through historic downtown Bastrop will explore ghost stories and other spooky tales connected to the people and buildings that shaped the city.
21st annual Fall Fest
The family festival will feature train rides, face painting, a petting zoo, a bounce house, food and treats, a silent auction, and a raffle.
Boo Bash
Downtown Bastrop’s Halloween celebration will feature trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treating along Main and Spring streets, activity booths, bounce houses, food vendors and other family activities.
Bee Cave
Oktoberfest at Hill Country Galleria
The event will feature a festive food menu, imported beers and local lagers, live music, face painting, yard games, a costume contest, and more. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to watch live music on the Central Plaza lawn.
Haunted Trail
The city of Bee Cave will have a spooky trail to explore this fall, recommended for ages 13 and up. There will be food trucks and restrooms at the end of the trail.
Buda
Booda Halloween
The city of Buda will host its annual Booda Halloween celebration with trick-or-treating, games, a kids costume contest, story time, food trucks and a sensory-sensitive room for attendees who need a break from the festivities.

Cedar Park First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
This patch will offer a variety of pumpkins priced by size. Volunteering opportunities are also available.
A Child’s Haven Preschool Fall Festival
This family-friendly event will feature pumpkin painting, a trunk-or-treat and a variety of games. Pumpkins are also available for purchase.
Creedmoor
Mama Mary’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch
Beyond a pumpkin patch, the farm offers hay rides, a zip line, an animal barn and a kiddie hay maze. Visitors can also paint their pumpkins. Mama Mary's Farm will also host Christmas activities, with details to come later this year.
Elgin
Evergreen Farms Pumpkin Hunt
A wagon ride through the Christmas tree fields takes visitors to hidden pumpkins, with additional activities including a pumpkin launcher, train rides, a fishing pond, foam axe throwing, zip lines, mazes and a bounce house.
Georgetown
Ghosts of the Georgetown Square Tour
The Williamson Museum will be offering 90-minute ghost-hunting tours leaving from the museum during October.

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm & Petting Zoo
This farm offers more than 40 different types of pumpkins along with a 4.5-acre corn maze. The fall festival also features dozens of other activities, including a petting zoo, wagon rides and pig races.

Frights at Orgain
The spooky season is back in Hutto as the city’s Parks and Recreation department continues to host Frights at Orgain. The first half-hour of the event will feature no music for a comforting sensory experience.

Indian Springs Ranch Fall Fest
Visitors can choose from 30 types of pumpkins at this ranch, which also features a variety of exotic animals. The ranch also offers games, food and photo opportunities for families.
Marble Falls
Sweet Berry Farm
Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls offers a variety of seasonal fall activities for the whole family, including pumpkin picking, hayrides, farm attractions, flower picking and other outdoor activities.
Pflugerville
Pflugerville First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The Pflugerville First United Methodist Church hosts an annual student fundraiser pumpkin patch in downtown Pflugerville, located across from the fire department. Proceeds benefit student and youth outreach programs.
Pflugerville First United Methodist Church Trunk or Treat
Trick-or-treaters can enjoy decorated car trunks filled with candy, along with local vendor and student booths during the church's Pfall Pfestival.
Round Rock
Round Rock Pumpkin Festival
The fifth annual Round Rock Pumpkin Festival will feature thousands of pumpkins, classic fall activities and food. The festival offers pumpkins for pies, carving and painting.
St. Richard’s Pumpkin Patch
In its 29th year, the Episcopal church’s pumpkin patch benefits local organizations, including the Round Rock Serving Center, Kairos Prison Ministry, Hope Alliance, Hutto Resource Center, St. Richard’s preschool scholarships and more.
Hairy Man Festival
Attendees can enjoy live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, carnival games, Halloween-themed activities, face painting, inflatables, petting zoos, and more fall fun, with local nonprofits raising money through food and game booths.

San Marcos
Sacred Springs Powwow
The Sacred Springs Powwow is a two-day celebration of the culture, art, traditions and languages of the Coahuiltecans, the Native population that has been part of the San Marcos area for thousands of years. More than 100 Native dancers from across Texas will gather at the Meadows Center in traditional regalia for dancing, drumming and singing.
