Lake Travis Padel will hold a live-streamed tournament fundraiser on Sunday, March 20, to raise money for Ukrainian humanitarian aid.

The event will be streamed on Instagram and will feature an exhibition event where tennis stars play alongside the top-ranked padel players in the United States. There will also be a pro-versus-amateur portion of the event, during which top padel players at Lake Travis Padel will play with the tennis stars.

Padel tennis is a racket sport adapted from tennis that uses a slightly smaller court, lower net and depressurized ball. The athlete lineup includes several working and retired tennis players, such as American professional tennis player Nick Monroe, Mexican collegiate tennis player Fernanda Contreras and retired American tennis player Robby Ginepri.

Proceeds for the Padel Tennis With the Stars event go toward Racquets for Refugees, a fundraiser benefitting Ukrainians started by Bob and Mike Bryan, retired American professional tennis players who hold the most wins of all time in doubles tennis.
