The city of Bee Cave and the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District will host an open house from 6-7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, in the council chambers at Bee Cave City Hall, 4000 Galleria Parkway.

The educational presentation by the SWTCGCD will review the background of the hydrogeology in southwestern Travis County, present the results of recent scientific investigations and discuss the information in the context of groundwater availability as well as the potential for drought this summer, according to a release from the city and district.

The free event will include an introduction and welcome; an educational presentation; and a public question-and-answer session.
