A strategic plan to re-energize Davenport Village has been announced by developers Whitestone REIT.

In a news release shared March 10, Whitestone Real Estate Investment Trust, or Whitestone REIT, stated that four new businesses had signed agreements to open in the revamped shopping center, including Starbucks Reserve, Pvolve and RVE Fitness. CUBExec will also service the shopping center, offering private office spaces available for rent by the first quarter of 2026, according to the news release.

The overview

The Davenport Village shopping center, located at 3801 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., is situated near neighborhoods including Davenport Ranch, Westlake Highlands, Rob Roy and Barton Creek. New additions to the center are intended to meet the lifestyle needs of the large number of business professionals living in these upscale communities, according Whitestone’s news release.

“Davenport is one of the best located retail properties in the country given the large tech workforce surrounding it, and we believe that by strategically transforming the merchandising mix, we will drive greater activity at the center, better serve the surrounding community and increase the value of the property,” CEO of Whitestone REIT Dave Holeman said in the news release.

Holeman stated that the shopping center has thus far lacked a mix of businesses that meet the needs of local residents, and that coffee and fitness-focused businesses, such as those opening soon in Davenport Village, are proven traffic-drivers.

The details

The new 3,274-square-foot Starbucks Reserve will open this summer, according to the news release. These special Starbucks locations offer premium lines of coffee and interactive coffee experiences, focusing on barista craft or technique. Artwork by Austin-based artists will also be showcased at the location, including hand-painted murals.

Pvolve will open a 3,126-square-foot studio by spring, according to the news release. The business offers workout classes which feature low-impact fitness methods, combining functional movement with resistance equipment.

RVE Fitness’ 7,815-square-foot space will feature a wellness center and gym. In addition to fitness offerings, which include yoga and pilates classes as well as strength training equipment, the business provides customers with massage therapy, nutrition counseling, and saunas and steam rooms.

CUBExec will provide customers with access to private executive suites and conference spaces, several of which will be available to rent by the first quarter of 2026, according to the news release. The location will be connected to RVE Fitness.

Whitestone REIT owns a variety of business centers around Texas and Arizona, and focuses on acquiring tenants for these centers, which provide food, self-care, financial or logistical services, education, and entertainment.

A list of properties owned by Whitestone REIT is available on the company’s website.

Quote of note

The additions of Starbucks Reserve, Pvolve, RVE Fitness and CUBExec are bespoke solutions for this high-end section of West Austin,” said Christine Mastandrea, Whitestone REIT chief operating officer, in the news release. “All of them are very selective in where they open locations, prioritizing growing neighborhoods that are in proximity to a robust and well-educated workforce.”
