Attend Bastrop’s inaugural Hispanic Heritage celebration, visit Austin-area museums or attend the Austin Zoo’s largest fundraiser, Austin Zoo Revue.

Viva Bastrop
The inaugural Hispanic Heritage celebration will feature a Selena tribute band, mariachi, folklorico dancers, a heritage march, street dancing, children’s activities, food and artisan vendors.

The Heritage Association of San Marcos - Treasure Sale
The sixth annual event, hosted by the local nonprofit Heritage Association of San Marcos, will offer upscale donated items. Shoppers may find new and vintage furniture, art, jewelry, silverware, glassware, collectibles, toys, bedding, accessories and gently worn clothing.

National Dance Day
Sponsored by the city of Round Rock Arts and Culture, the event invites participants to learn and enjoy a variety of dancing styles.

Meet the Trucks 2026
This family-friendly event will allow attendees to see emergency vehicles, construction equipment and garbage trucks up close. There will also be opportunities to get behind the wheel and meet the people who drive the vehicles. The first 30 minutes of the event will be “sensory-friendly” and will not have flashing lights, loud horns or music.

Austin Zoo Revue
The annual gala is the Austin Zoo’s largest fundraiser. The event will have food catered by Gourmet Gals Catering & Events, a signature cocktail by Dripping Springs Distilling, a silent auction and a live auction.

Austin Museum Day
Locals can enjoy the 29th annual Austin Museum Day, which is set to feature over 30 Austin-area museums. Visitors can look forward to special programming, exhibition tours and activities for all ages. Participating museums include the Blanton Museum of Art and The Williamson Museum.
