After seven years of providing customers with bird feed and accessories in the Lake Travis area, Hill Country Birds, formerly known as the Wild Bird Store, will close July 20.

Co-owners Laura Hopkins and Gary Cobb are retiring and do not plan on re-opening.

“We have loved the entire [Lake] Travis community, they’ve been wonderful and warm,” Hopkins said. “It’s been a great experience."
