Georgetown ISD will host its annual State of the District event March 2, which will showcase students' and staff's accomplishments and include information about the district's plans for 2023, according to the district's website.
The event will take place at the Hammerlun Center for Leadership and Learning at 507 E. University Ave., Georgetown, from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with students from all grade levels and take a look at what GISD kids are learning.
Superintendent Fred Brent will share an address, which will call attention to the improvement of instructional time, and plans for the upcoming school year, according to the district.
Tickets are free, but registration is encouraged.
