Bryan Hallmark, Georgetown ISD's assistant superintendent of operations and school leadership, is leaving to take the position of superintendent at Sealy ISD outside of Houston, The Sealy News first reported.

Hallmark joined GISD as executive director of school leadership in 2015. In his role as assistant superintendent he oversaw campus operations, counseling services, health services, transportation, nutrition services, school safety, the extracurricular drug testing program, student transfers, discipline and student attendance, according to the district's website.

At this point in time, the position is not posted, GISD Executive Director of Communications Melinda Brasher said.

He starts in his new role April 27.
