Williamson County and Cities Health District confirmed nine new cases of the coronavirus April 22, bringing the county total to 167.

So far, 101 patients have recovered, a district report said. Five have died.

Here is an update on the cities of residence where confirmed cases are located, according to the WCCHD:

  • Austin: 12

  • Cedar Park: 21

  • Georgetown: 27

  • Hutto: 15

  • Leander: 14

  • Round Rock: 66

  • Other: 12


On April 21, the county reported two additional cases.

Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said the county is not legally able to release the specific counts in cities with fewer than 20,000 residents.
