Sertoma’s 4th of July in the Park


Enjoy a parade, more than 80 booths, a petting zoo, live entertainment, train rides, and fireworks at Sertoma’s annual Independence Day event. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at the low water crossing in San Gabriel Park and ends at the Gazebo. Fireworks begin at dark. Free. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. www.georgetownsertoma.org

Frontier Days celebration, Sertoma Parade


Join the City of Round Rock for a parade, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contests and children’s activities. Free watermelon and fireworks will be followed by the Lego Batman Movie. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Main St. The festival is from 12-11 p.m. at Old Settlers Park, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd. www.roundrocktexas.gov
