Update 12:41 p.m. Aug. 22 The water leak on Austin Avenue has been repaired and service has been restored, city officials said. The leak closed Austin Avenue between Seventh and Eight streets for about two hours. Updated 11:58 a.m. Aug. 22 Austin Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets in front of the Williamson County Courthouse has been closed due to a water leak, city officials said. It is unknown how long the repairs will take, officials said.All lanes of Austin Avenue from Seventh to Eighth streets are closed again this morning for asphalt resurfacing in the location of the water main break that happened yesterday. The road should be open again by noon.

Earlier: A water leak on Austin Avenue in front of the Williamson County Courthouse has reduced southbound traffic to one lane Aug. 22. City water crews are on their way to shut off the leak and investigate the issue, city officials said. This is a developing story.
