Fuego Latino Gastropub is now open on the Georgetown Square. The restaurant opened Aug. 8 and is located at 708 S. Austin Ave., Georgetown, replacing Greenhouse Craft Food, which permanently closed its Georgetown location May 4.

Central Texas Mini Golf plans October opening in Georgetown



After originally planning for an August opening, Central Texas Mini Golf is set to open an 18-hole, landscape-style mini golf course in mid- or late October, co-owner Audrey Anderson said.

First round of PPP loans offered temporary relief in New Braunfels, saved jobs


In New Braunfels, Small Business Administration data showed 229 companies—corporations, nonprofits, independent contractors, sole proprietors and limited liability companies—received loans ranging from $150,000 to $5 million.

SBA data shows that another 1,577 New Braunfels businesses received loans of $150,000 or less.


Lone Star Bath Treats expands to brick-and-mortar location in New Braunfels

Lone Star Bath Treats, located at 2090 N. I-35, Ste. 4111, New Braunfels, had its grand opening July 29. What began in 2016 as a vendor operation at various farmers markets throughout Central Texas has now expanded into a brick-and-mortar store, according to owner Mandi Jakubowski, a retired police officer.

Thom's Market will open at 5901 Burnet Road, Austin, in late 2020. This will be the fourth location of the locally owned market, which owner Bill Thom started on Barton Springs Road in 2008.

Texas-based automotive company acquires newly built Jaguar Land Rover North Austin

The Texas-based Sewell Automotive Companies opened its first dealership in the Greater Austin area July 31 at 13910 N. RM 620, Austin. The family-owned company acquired Jaguar Land Rover North Austin, which opened in March under Park Place Dealerships. The newly constructed 70,000-square-foot dealership features a glass-enclosed showroom, a three-lane service drive, a service shop and more. Sewell, which has existed since 1911, now operates 17 full-service dealerships across Texas.
