Incumbents Julie Pickren, Regan Metoyer Peterson and Cheryl Harris each earned another term as Alvin ISD school board trustees this year.

Pickren received 61.97 percent of the vote, defeating Bruce McClary-Davis for Position 1.

“I would just like to say thank you to the voters in Alvin ISD for electing me to another term and for a chance to serve our wonderful teachers, students, community and parents,” Picken said. “Great things are happening in Alvin ISD.”

Metoyer Peterson received 70.38 percent of the vote against Binu John for Position 2.

“I am so honored that the citizens of Alvin ISD have given me their vote of confidence in continuing the great work in our district,” Metoyer Peterson said.

Harris received 67.3 percent of the vote, defeating Eugene Howard for Position 3.

The next AISD school board meeting is May 8.
