Fashion retailer Kenneth Cole will be phasing out its outlet stores including those at the Round Rock Premium Outlets and San Marcos Premium Outlets.

“As we continue on our path of strengthening our global lifestyle brand, we look to expand our online and full-price retail footprint across the globe,” Kenneth Cole CEO Marc Schneider told Bloomberg. “We need to focus our energies and resources to better serve the consumer on their terms.”

Austin-area stores are not the only stores affected. Kenneth Cole will close all of its outlet stores in the United States over the next six months, leaving only two full-price stores in operation: one in New York and another in Virginia.

Customers will still be able to purchase Kenneth Cole products online and through department stores that carry the brand.
