The sixth annual festival features Ali Wong, Patton Oswalt, Chris Hardwick, Ralphie May, Jay Pharoah and other comedians at several venues throughout Austin. April 22 | Record Store Day


Certain Austin-area record stores are participating in the 10th annual event, held all day Saturday. A Record Store Day participating store must be a stand-alone brick-and-mortar retailer whose primary business focuses on a physical store location and whose product line consists of at least 50 percent music retail, according to the event’s website. Participating stores must also not be publicly traded and ownership must be at least 70 percent in the state of operation. A list of participating stores can be found here.

April 22 | Earth Day Austin


Earth Day Austin, one of the largest sustainability events in Central Texas, invites attendees to explore programming, exhibitions and environmental issues. Through a partnership with Rocky Mountain Institute, Capital Metro and the city of Austin, the event showcases the future of mobility in Austin. April 22-23 | Texas Rowing Championships


The two-day event is open to junior and master crews from the state of Texas. The 1,000-meter event features a seven-lane, fully buoyed race course on Lady Bird Lake and takes place at Festival Beach Park. Various times. Free (spectators).
