Rush Automotive is opening its next auto repair center in Leander on US 183.

Co-owner Joe Rush estimates the shop will open this year. Services will include full-service auto repairs, and a majority of services are completed the same day. Customers will have theater recliners, Wi-Fi and Keurig coffee in the waiting room. The building will have 14 car bays.

Rush said some permits have been affected by the coronavirus, but building construction has continued. He said his business has seen at least 50% less volume than usual.

Rush said the other auto shops in Round Rock and Bastrop are offering no-contact repairs during the coronavirus, which include car pickup, delivery and a car wipe-down.

“We’re making all the appropriate adjustments that we can to our business to make sure we survive the new normal,” Rush said. http://myrushauto.com
