Candidates for Cedar Park City Council submitted their 8-day campaign finance reports April 23. Reports publicly share campaign donations, expenditures, total balance and loan information as reported by candidates.

Eight-day reports are the final finance reports before the May 1 election. These reports include activity from March 23-April 21, according to the state.

Place 1 candidates

Place 1 candidate Jim Penniman-Morin raised $5,399.75 and spent $10,016.62, which is the most of any Cedar Park candidate. The campaign has a balance of $6,869.83 and a loan balance of $2,000, according to the report. Nine of Penniman-Morin's 14 donors were from Cedar Park.

Candidate Dorian Chavez raised $2,660 and spent $1,471.44. The campaign balance is $6,461.39 with $700 in outstanding loans. Nine of Chavez's 15 donors were from Cedar Park, according to the report.


Place 3 candidates

Incumbent Anne Duffy raised $4,440 and spent $5,424.26 with a campaign balance of $5,897.81. Seventeen of Duffy's 22 donors were from Cedar Park.

Candidate Claudia Chavez raised $3,025 and spent $4,699.91. The campaign has $4,119.45 on hand. Eleven of Chavez's 17 donors were from Cedar Park, according to the report.

Place 5 candidates


Candidate Kevin Harris is the top fundraiser of all Cedar Park candidates. Harris raised $17,144.64 and spent $5,896.16. The campaign has $11,374.56 on hand and an outstanding loan balance of $2,300. Twenty-two of Harris' 49 donors were from Cedar Park.

Candidate Collin Klein raised $2,430.92 and spent $4,939.74. Klein has the lowest campaign balance with $172.08. Nine of Klein's 14 donors were from Cedar Park.
