Leander ISD students will go to school April 12 to replace the canceled Jan. 11 school day, the district confirmed to Community Impact Newspaper.

The April date was set in the 2020-21 district calendar. After canceling the school day, the district said it would either use the bad weather makeup day or use additional minutes.

"Students need the minutes and staff contracts require employees to make up the time, therefore, we will use the bad weather makeup day allocated in our calendar," the district said.
