Leander ISD will host a Facebook Live event at 4:30 p.m. April 8 to answer questions about the online Remote Learning Parenting Hub that LISD launched April 6.

The live video event, titled "Let's Talk, Learn, and Have Fun with Bruce & Friends," will be led by Superintendent Bruce Gearing and take place on LISD's Facebook page.

The page is public, and viewers will not need to have a Facebook account to access the feed, according to LISD.

LISD stakeholders may also ask questions at any time on LISD's Let's Talk page.

Teachers began reconnecting with students on March 25 before sharing information that had previously been studied on March 26. On April 6, LISD students began learning new material, according to the district. LISD is handing out Chromebooks to elementary students April 7-9.
