Based in Houston, this is the first Austin-area location of the restaurant. The cafe features nine large TVs, online check in, a designated to-go area and three hand-painted murals by a local artist, specifically designed for the Cedar Park location, according to a Nov. 8 press release.
Menu items include churro-style doughnuts, the restaurant’s version of a breakfast sandwich, the Yolkwich, and more. The restaurant also has a full bar with mimosas, frozen Bellinis and a limited-time offer of the Toasted Ranch Water.
In honor of the debut of The Toasted Yolk Cafe, 10% of opening day sales will be donated to The Dog Alliance, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to healing through the relationship with dogs.
Ron and Val Claypool are the owners of the Cedar Park location, and Leo Murgia is the general manager.
“My wife Val and I are extremely excited to be a part of such great communities as Cedar Park and surrounding cities,” Ron Claypool said in the release. “We are looking forward to meeting every guest that comes through the doors and giving them a big, toasted welcome.”
