Run for the Pie


This 10-mile course provided by Amber Moon Studio is inviting runners and walkers for all distances. Whether participants run one mile or 10 miles, there will be coffee and pie waiting for them at the end of the event.Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot

All paces and ages are welcome to this running event featuring 5K, 10K and half marathon options. Participants will receive a race T-shirt, a finisher’s towel, a finisher’s medal and a training pack.December


Follow the Star


The 13th annual outdoor production featuring over 300 cast and crew will depict the life of Jesus Christ through 10 scenes that individuals can see by walking through or driving through the event space. Each scene stop takes approximately two minutes and attendees can proceed at their own pace.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Community members can gather to witness the lighting of the Heritage Oak Tree with over 50,000 lights to mark the beginning of the holiday season. There will be live music performances, holiday-themed activities and food from local vendors. Attendees can take a photo with Santa Claus with their own camera and stay to watch holiday movie classics.Holidays with the Horses

Open My World Therapeutic Riding Center will host the third annual event where attendees can find cowboy Santa Claus, a holiday market, a light trail, carnival games, and a silent auction and raffle. All proceeds will support the Donna Roland Memorial Scholarship Fund, which helps pay for therapy sessions for clients that need financial assistance for the center’s programs.Old Town Christmas Festival


Hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce, the annual Christmas tradition will fill downtown Leander. Residents can look forward to an Old Town Rudolph Run 5K; a Christmas marketplace, featuring holiday vendors; and pictures with Santa Claus. After the run, participants can watch the holiday parade with appearances from local organizations, nonprofits, community partners and city officials. To end the day, the tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m., followed by a holiday movie showing.

Liberty Hill Boutique Stroll

The stroll will feature local businesses such as Main Street Marketplace, Blinded by the Light Home Decor and Gift Shop, Olive and Sage Boutique, Michelle's Patisserie and The Vinew Shoppe. Attendees can expect treats and raffles with the grand prize valued at more than $400. Proceeds from the event will benefit local nonprofits.Chubby Santa 0.0K

The Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Chubby Santa 0.0K where community members can enjoy live music, drinks and holiday fun.

7th annual Peacock Christmas Party

Turquoise Peacock Boutique will give away Christmas presents to attendees. The occasion is one of the largest events the boutique hosts throughout the year.Tail of Lights


Dogs and their owners are invited to enjoy this festive walk setting featuring holiday music and lights, pet-focused vendors, Yappy Hour treats, and photo opportunities with Santa Paws. Holiday attire is encouraged and all dogs must be leashed.

Liberty Hill Jingle Bell 5K/1K Fun Run

The Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce will host this first annual holiday running event which will benefit the Liberty Hill ISD Education Foundation and local schools. Participants can choose a LHISD school to support during their run and $5 of their entry fee will benefit the chosen school. Awards will be given out for 5K participants and all attendees will receive a long-sleeve dry fit shirt and a swag bag.

Breakfast with Santa

Children ages 2-5 and their parent or guardian can enjoy a catered breakfast, stories with the Cedar Park Library, an ornament to take home and a photo with Santa Claus.

Christmas Cookie Decorating Class

Participants will learn the basics of sugar cookie decorating on premade cookies with guided instruction. Some basics include icing consistencies and piping techniques. Individuals can take the cookies they decorate home with them.
