Los Angeles-based The Cheesecake Factory will open a restaurant in Barton Creek Square Mall, 2901 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., Ste. G02B, Austin, later this year, said Alethea Rowe, Senior Director of Public Relations and Brand Management. The company has not set an exact opening date, she said.

According to their website, The Cheesecake Factory opened their first restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1978 and has almost 200 restaurants nationwide, including one in the Arboretum.

The restaurant serves hamburgers, steak, pasta, pizza, chicken, fish, seafood, salads and, of course, cheesecake.
