The specifics
In response to public input from previous hearings, the following changes have been made to the development plan:
- Apartments adjacent to the Bastrop Grove neighborhood are limited to a maximum of two stories.
- The throughway at Jessica Place is eliminated.
- West side units are limited to a maximum of four stories.
- Landscaping along the setbacks from the residential neighborhood will be increased.
Also on the agenda
Council will consider the approval of $16,991 to the Bastrop Opera House from the city’s Hotel Tax Fund. A further $149,109 and $289,107 in hotel occupancy tax awarded to the Lost Pines Art Center and the Bastrop Historical Society, respectively, will also be considered at the meeting.
