In a news release, Liriano said Celebrando Nuestra Cultura Hispana, which translates in English to "Celebrating Our Hispanic Culture," is a time for neighbors to join together and have fun.
What's happening
The free, family-friendly event will offer:
- Live music and dancing by DJ Manny Morales
- Performances by Cedar Creek High School's Ballet Folklórico
- Community resources from Dell Children's Medical Center, First National Bank of Bastrop, Texas Pediatric Readiness Improvement Project, Heal Alliance, as well as local registered nurses and doctors
- Food by Casa Chapala, Berry Cool Snow Cones and Poco Loco Super Mercado
- Drinks sponsored by Bluebonnet Electric, Brown Distributing and Lost Pines Toyota
- Children's activities sponsored by Bastrop County Cares
The Hispanic-owned dealership offers other community events throughout the year, including:
- The Big Pink Bus, which provides free and low-cost mammograms each month
- Smithville Community Clinic Dental Bus, which offers low-cost dental visits in rural areas
- Toyota Way Forward, which promotes education and treatment of traumatic brain injuries in pediatric patients
- Workforce Commission Training Program, which supports training initiatives impacting the local workforce
"[We are] dedicated to providing a trusted, welcoming environment where our customers and community come first, and where family values inspire everything we do," Liriano said in the news release.
