Parking isn't an option at ACL. Residential neighborhoods surrounding Zilker Park will have signs installed that prohibit parking. No street parking is allowed within the Rollingwood city limits, 0.7-square-mile municipality immediately west of Zilker Park.

Rollingwood residents can pick up address and zone-specific parking permits at Rollingwood City Hall, 403 Nixon Drive, weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. starting Friday until Sept. 30, the start of the festival.

A ride-sharing company pickup area has been designated on Stephen F. Austin Drive at the north end of the MoPac footbridge.

Here are the ride-sharing companies currently operating in Austin:

Honda and the Central Texas Honda Dealers are partnering with RideAustin to launch Hail A Honda, which provides ACL attendees free rides to the festival over its two weekends in 2016 Honda CR-V sport utility vehicles, which can fit up to four riders. Festival ticket holders can hail Hondas from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. by downloading the RideAustin app and clicking on the "Honda at ACL Festival" tab. Riders will also receive a free bandana and ACL Fest chilled water.

A taxi pick-up and drop-off area is located at the bottom of William Barton Drive, just south of Barton Springs Road.

Free festival shuttles will pick up festival attendees at Republic Square, located at the intersection of Fourth and Guadalupe streets and will drop off at the festival entrance on Barton Springs Road. The shuttles begin running at 10:30 a.m. and will run until 11 p.m. each day of the festival.

Capital Metro is also ramping up its services during both weekends.

Bike racks are available at every entrance to the festival. Austin B-cycle will be operating a B-cycle valet at the Zilker Park B-station, offering to return the bikes to stations for festival goers. B-cycle is also looking for volunteers to help with the valet system.
