After closing its Missouri City center in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Houston's First Baptist Church reopened the Julianna Poor Memorial Counseling Center at its Sienna Parkway campus, counseling minister Gene Burrus said.
What they offer
The JPMCC provides a faith-based, clinical counseling service to promote the emotional, psychological and spiritual health of individuals, marriages and families.
Fee-based services are extended by professional counselors at the Sienna church campus, and counselors seek solutions to personal and interpersonal issues through the application of the Bible, according to the church's website.
