With all vote centers reporting results, Fort Bend County has some new nominees ahead of the November election.
The results are in
April L. Jones narrowly maintained the lead in the Democratic race for Precinct 4 commissioner with 3,166 votes, while Ken Mathews won the Republican race with 3,219 votes, per data from the county.
Meanwhile, Sonya Jones narrowly beat Maria T. Jackson with 14,419 votes in the Democratic race for county clerk.
Finally, Jeffrey L. Boney took the lead over Sara Khan in the Democratic race for county treasurer with 18,686 votes, data shows.
All results are unofficial until canvassed.

Fort Bend County has begun to release election day results, although some precincts remain unreported.
By the numbers
As of 10:25 p.m., April L. Jones has maintained the lead in the Democratic race for Precinct 4 commissioner with 2,983 votes, while Ken Mathews leads the Republican race with 3,048 votes, per data from the county.
Meanwhile, Sonya Jones takes the lead with 13,038 votes over Maria T. Jackson with 12,571 votes in the Democratic race for county clerk.
Finally, Jeffrey L. Boney keeps the lead over Sara Khan in the Democratic race for county treasurer with 16,632 votes and 9,611 votes, respectively, data shows. Looking ahead

Fort Bend County has released May 26 primary election runoff early voting totals for multiple races, including Precinct 4 commissioner, county clerk and county treasurer.
What you need to know
There were several county contests that advanced to May runoffs after no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the March 3 primary election.
Brittanye Lashay Morris and April L. Jones were the two highest-performing candidates in the seven-way Democratic primary race for Fort Bend County Precinct 4 commissioner, with Morris securing 18.82% of the vote and Jones seeing 17.64%.
Meanwhile, Ken Mathews and Adam Schoof were the two highest-performing candidates in the four-way Republican primary race for Precinct 4 commissioner, with Mathews securing 45.39% of the vote to Schoof's 29.75%.
Additionally, Sonya Jones and Maria T. Jackson were the two highest-performing candidates in the four-way Democratic primary race for Fort Bend County clerk, with Sonya Jones securing 37.47% of the vote to Jackson's 22.92%.
Finally, Jeffrey L. Boney and Sara Khan were the two highest-performing candidates in the five-way Democratic primary race for Fort Bend County treasurer, with Boney securing 35.34% of the vote to Khan's 31.79%.
On the ballot
Unofficial early voting results show April L. Jones leads the Democratic runoff race for the commissioner seat with 2,079 votes, while Mathews leads the Republican race with 2,355 votes.
Meanwhile, Jackson leads the Democratic runoff race for Fort Bend County clerk with 9,186 votes, followed by Sonya Jones with 9,113 votes, early totals show.
Additionally, early results show Boney leads the Democratic runoff race for Fort Bend County treasurer with 12,126 votes, trailed by Khan with 6,657 votes.
The runoff winners will advance to the Nov. 3 election, with early voting from Oct. 19-30.
At the polls
A total of 44,233 Fort Bend County voters cast their ballots during early voting, representing approximately 7.78% of the county’s 568,331 registered voters, according to early voting statistics.
Polls closed at 7 p.m., despite a countywide polling check-in outage earlier in the afternoon. However, voters who were in line before closing will still be able to make their voices heard.
