Why are you running for Fort Bend County Precinct 4 commissioner?
I’m running to bring practical, accountable leadership to county government. As a resident, and small business owner, I see how infrastructure, flooding, safety and budgeting decisions affect families daily. Precinct 4 deserves a commissioner who listens and delivers results.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
I’m a CPA, small business owner and community leader who works daily with government systems, budgets and compliance. I understand fiscal responsibility, transparency and service delivery. My professional experience and hands-on work with families give me both technical skill and real-world perspective.
If elected, what will be your top priorities?
My top priorities are flood mitigation and drainage accountability, infrastructure improvements, public safety coordination, responsible budgeting, and youth and community programs. I will focus on solutions that protect neighborhoods, improve quality of life and ensure county services work efficiently for residents.
What should the county's budgeting priorities be?
Budgets should fix what residents already paid for. That means maintaining roads, drainage and public safety systems before funding new projects. Every dollar should answer one question: does this reduce risk, improve service, or save money long-term?
How do you plan to continue preparing for population growth as the county nears one million residents?
Growth should not mean congestion, flooding or slower services. I support infrastructure; clear planning, enforcing development standards and inter-agency coordination. If we don’t plan ahead, residents pay later in traffic, taxes and preventable damage.
How do you plan to help grow economic development in the county?
Economic development starts with trust. Businesses invest where infrastructure works, permits are clear and budgets are stable. I will support small businesses, workforce pipelines and regional partnerships that create jobs while ensuring growth strengthens neighborhoods, not strains them.

I am running for Fort Bend County, Commissioner, Precinct 4 to bring transparency, accountability to Commissioner’s Court, ensuring residents are put first in the community instead of political interests, rhetoric.

I am running to serve my community with integrity, transparency and accountability. With years of public service and community involvement, I want to support smart growth, strong infrastructure, fiscal responsibility and responsive county government that prioritizes residents’ quality of life.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
I have over four years as Chief Deputy in the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office and 15 years as a business owner. With degrees in computer science and business management, I bring experience in government operations, budgeting, finance and practical leadership.
If elected, what will be your top priorities?
My priorities include infrastructure improvement, traffic mobility, public safety partnerships, efficient county services and transparent governance. I will listen to residents, address local concerns, and ensure county resources are used responsibly, efficiently and equitably.

Why are you running for Fort Bend County Precinct 4 commissioner?
Fort Bend is changing, and our choices now will determine whether residents thrive or fall behind. Rising water and insurance costs and flooding risks are squeezing people. I grew up here and worked in Texas government. I’m running to make county government deliver the basics so growth benefits everyone.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
A commissioner must make county government work for the people. I bring hands on experience, financial management, coordinating disaster response in Texas’ largest county, working across different levels of governments and communities, and solving problems under pressure. I love to listen, build coalitions and deliver results that improve daily life.

If elected, my top priorities will be lowering the cost of insurance, property taxes and water, investing in infrastructure and drainage to reduce flooding, and strengthening community cohesion so growth benefits everyone and residents feel connected, supported, and heard.

Our budget should tackle rising insurance and water costs head-on by investing in infrastructure and drainage to reduce flooding. We need a disciplined budget that helps keep property taxes down, fully funds core services and emergency response and plans ahead to lower long-term costs instead of driving them up.

Why are you running for Fort Bend County Precinct 4 commissioner?
I’m running to ensure Fort Bend’s rapid growth works for families, not against them. As a working mom and community leader, I want to protect affordability, invest in infrastructure and ensure every neighborhood has a voice in county decisions.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
I’m an attorney, an elected Municipal Utility District board member and a former Fort Bend County Citizens Redistricting Committee member. I have hands-on experience with infrastructure, budgeting and fair representation, and I’ve won elections by directly engaging voters.

My top priorities are flood and drainage resilience, responsible growth and infrastructure, affordability, public safety and economic opportunity. I will focus on proactive planning, transparency and ensuring county investments deliver real benefits to residents across Precinct 4.

I’m running to protect what makes Fort Bend special—safe neighborhoods, thriving businesses and strong families. Our county is growing quickly, and we need thoughtful leadership to manage that growth responsibly while improving infrastructure, supporting small businesses and ensuring animal welfare services keep pace.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
As a former district judge and small business owner, I bring experience in leadership, accountability and problem-solving. I’ve worked with families across Fort Bend and understand our diverse needs. My background helps me make fair, informed decisions that keep our community safe and prosperous.
If elected, what will be your top priorities?
Focusing on infrastructure, business growth and community safety. I’ll work to expand road and drainage projects, support first responders, attract local employers and improve animal shelter resources—all while ensuring transparency and fiscal responsibility in every decision.

The counties budgeting strategies should be 1). Resident; community focused, protecting residents from harmful developments in their community 2). Sustainability [and] environmental stewardship. 3). Budgeting to ensure Precinct 4 interest are put first, not rhetoric and political interests and 4). Safety, residents’ mental health, socio-economic status in Precinct 4 community.
How do you plan to continue preparing for population growth as the county nears one million residents?
Continual education regarding population issues, implement and donate to family programs, raise awareness regarding overpopulation, family planning and environmental issues.

I plan to help grow economic development through higher productivity, the extension of rights to all social groups and the opportunities to get them. By focusing on smart growth. Invest in infrastructure, water systems, roads and drainage, so development keeps pace with demand. Require new development to pay its fair share and coordinate land use for transportation, schools, grocery stores, medical facilities and emergency services so growth strengthens communities instead of overwhelming them.
How do you plan to help grow economic development in the county?
Economic development should be intentional and community centered. Invest in infrastructure, use incentives to attract good employers, and support small businesses, restaurants, and entrepreneurs. Build a diverse mix of industries so the county can reinvest locally and partner with educational institutions to align training with priority sectors.

Preparation means planning ahead. I will coordinate infrastructure investments, ensure growth pays for growth, use data to prioritize projects, and work with cities, MUDs, and regional partners so roads, drainage, broadband and services keep pace with development.
How do you plan to help grow economic development in the county?
I will focus on attracting good paying jobs closer to home by supporting shovel ready business parks, industrial hubs and infrastructure investments. I also support workforce development, apprenticeships and small business growth to broaden the tax base and reduce pressure on homeowners.
We must prioritize public safety, infrastructure and flood control while investing in small businesses and community programs. I also believe in funding well-run animal shelters and pet protection efforts that reflect our county’s compassion and commitment to quality of life.

Planning ahead is key. I’ll champion smart growth policies that balance new development with updates to roads, schools and drainage systems. We must grow in a way that maintains our community feel while supporting families, businesses and animal services equally.

I’ll strengthen partnerships with local businesses, create pathways for entrepreneurs and attract new industries to Fort Bend. By promoting fair incentives and cutting unnecessary red tape, we can grow jobs, support small business owners and keep our local economy vibrant.
