Holiday Movie Day
Spend an afternoon watching classic holiday movies on Meanwhile Brewing’s stage TVs. Guests can bring blankets and camp chairs to watch “Frozen,” “A Christmas Story” and “Home Alone.”
Austin's New Year
Presented by the City of Austin and Visit Austin, this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration will be headlined by Third Eye Blind. There will be music, food, drinks, vendors and fireworks to ring in the new year at Auditorium Shores.
January
Barton Springs Polar Splash
The Save Our Springs Alliance will host this all-day event to celebrate the new year. There will be commemorative t-shirts to purchase for $20 and coffee. Attendees can show up to jump at any time, but are encouraged to show up early.
Texas Weddings will be at the Palmer Events Center showcasing dresses, cakes, floral arrangements and more for brides-to-be and their parties to plan a wedding.
‘Clue’
Texas Performing Arts Broadway in Austin will present “Clue,” the murder mystery comedy inspired by the Hasbro board game and adapted from the 1985 film, at Bass Concert Hall.
Austin International Half Marathon
This half marathon, formerly known as the 3M Half Marathon, will start in North Austin and run downhill to end near the Capitol. Participants can also choose to run the marathon in a relay team.
5k Fun Run
Run, walk or jog for a beer at this race at Independence Brewing, part of the 2025 Texas Brewery Running Series. Participants will receive one pint of craft beer at the finish line plus other race goodies.
Wedding Capital of Texas Winter Showcase
Couples, families and wedding parties are invited to attend this showcase at Allegro Weddings and Events Venue where they can visit with local vendors to help plan their special days. RSVPs are requested.
South Paws Fest
Brit Street Records will host this all-ages live music event featuring 14 bands and a vendor market from Austin Artisan Markets. Part of the proceeds will benefit Austin Pets Alive!.
