Mariscos el Jaguar
The food truck offers Mexican seafood dishes, including aguachile verde, ceviche, tostadas and shrimp tacos. The menu also features drinks such as mangonadas, fresh juices and horchata. Mariscos el Jaguar also has a location in Round Rock.
The shop is located on the second floor of The Story Emporium & Bookshop and offers a variety of comics with new shipments coming in every Wednesday. The business is owned by Juan Christman, and his wife and two sons help run the store.
The household concierge service serves Pflugerville, Round Rock and Hutto. The local team helps with laundry, errands, tidying, organizing and everyday household tasks.
The store provides printing services for custom signs, large format printing, canvas prints, business cards, vehicle wraps, vinyl banners and more. AlphaGraphics has over 270 locations worldwide and four in the Austin area.
The salon, which has been serving customers for about a year and a half, is located in a 118-year-old house. The house was painted pink and the parking lot was redone in an effort to improve its looks. Following the renovation, the salon will reopen Nov. 7. The business offers hair, beauty and wellness services, including hair color, cuts, extensions, nails, skincare, facials and massages.
Hutto Parks and Recreation held a ribbon-cutting Oct. 17 for a new playground at the park. The playground was created to support children of all abilities. The city selected nine sensory-focused features for the playground, which support adaptive movement like spinning and rocking, offer quiet decompression spaces, and engage different senses.
The organization received $250,000 in funding from the Williamson County Commissioners Court in late October. The money comes from solid waste fees collected by the county, and the HEF will use it for scholarships and grants for Hutto ISD students, teachers and staff.
