Lionheart Places—a Texas-based and women-owned planning and design firm—will collaborate with the community and city staff to establish a vision and goals focusing on mobility, parking, land use, public spaces, economic development and urban design in Old Town Cibolo, according to agenda documents.
The firm has completed similar projects for the cities of Kyle and Buda, such as Buda’s Downtown Master Plan and Austin Reconstruction and the city of Kyle’s Plum Creek Tax-Increment Reinvestment Zone Strategic Framework Plan.
The contract will be funded through the city’s Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget’s Economic Development Corporation funds, according to agenda documents.
