Amira joined Community Impact in January 2023 after graduating with a degree in journalism from Texas State University in San Marcos. She covers local government, education, business and transportation. Prior to CI, Amira was a reporter at the Hays Free Press and interned at Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine.
