A new pavilion was built at Live Oak’s Main City Park.

This renovation project included the replacement of the foundation and the roof, the addition of colorful shade ports to add shade, an additional 1000 square feet of concrete, and more improvements.

This is one of many new improvements to Main City Park. The pavilion is located near the Acorn Playground, which opened in December. A new playground is also being constructed at the hilltop area of the park, which is expected to be finished in November.

Picnic tables for the pavilion have been ordered and will be added when they arrive, according to city staff.
