The city of Live Oak held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 10 for the Acorn Playground at Main City Park.

Design for the new playground was discussed in October 2021 due to the difficulty of finding replacement parts for the previous playground. The new playground has a forest theme, featuring acorns, bears and trees.

Acorn Playground is located at the entrance of Main City Park, located at 18001 Park Drive, Live Oak.
