Schertz residents will have the opportunity to get rid of unwanted waste during the Fall Clean Up event.

Residents can take household waste not covered under their normal collection service to the drop-off location free of charge. Commercial and rental property cleanups, large property cleanups and property land clearing do not apply.

A current Schertz utility bill and proper identification are required. Waste disposal per household is limited to two pickup trucks or one trailer that is 16 feet long and 4 feet high.

A list of acceptable trash to be dropped off can be found on the city’s website. Hazardous items and tires can be dropped off Oct. 14-15.
