How we got here

In March, Ott and Engelke were the top vote-getters in the original primary race for the seat, as longtime Guadalupe County commissioner Greg Seidenberger did not seek re-election.

As none of the candidates garnered more than 50% of the total vote, it necessitated a runoff.

In a Q&A submitted to Community Impact in January, Engelke advocates for improving infrastructure and maintaining fiscal responsibility, while Ott prioritizes enhancing public safety and supporting local businesses to boost the economy.

All results are unofficial until canvassed.
