The United States Military Veterans Parade Association will honor veterans and active members of the armed forces with the San Antonio Veterans Day parade downtown. The parade will feature decorated floats and local organizations, as well as middle school and high school ROTC programs. The parade route will start at Milam Park and will travel down Houston Street.

The veterans outreach event will feature a comedy show by military veterans and comedians Mario Salazar and Chris Gruillon. There will also be a mental wellness discussion before the show, and the first 200 guests will receive complimentary food and soft drinks.

The craft event at La Villita will be led by acrylic artist Chantia “Tia” Bailey, who will lead a series of four events where she will create images that align with the theme of community and belonging. Wurstfest
The 10-day festival will celebrate New Braunfels’ German heritage with beer, German cuisine, live music and vendors near Landa Park. This year, the 10-day celebration features more than 40 entertainment acts from musicians all over the world. Wurstfest features over 20 food vendors that offer German-inspired food and drinks, amusement rides and artisan shops.
