Levitation 2026
Austinites can attend over 20 shows across four days, including performances Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, The Garden and Lunar Vacation. Venues include Stubb’s, Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Elysium and 13th Floor.
9/11 Memorial Ceremony
There will be a ceremony in downtown New Braunfels to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The event will include a flag raising and lowering ceremony, remarks from local dignitaries and a bell ringing in memory of fallen first responders.
Native Plants Organic Gardening Class
Participants in the class will explore the ecological and practical benefits of incorporating indigenous flora into their gardens and learn which plants can be used to create a thriving, low-impact landscape.
Cowboy Heritage Day
Attendees can enjoy live demonstrations, cowboy stories and songs, historic photos and artifacts, and hands-on activities highlighting Bastrop County’s cowboy and vaquero heritage.
Viva México
Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center is hosting its 19th annual Viva México celebration. The event commemorates Mexico’s Independence Day and the cultural traditions of the local Mexican, Mexican-American, Latino, Chicano and Tejano communities. The event will feature live music, dance performances, art activities, games and a vendor market.
Hope, Heroes & Handbags: Designer purse bingo
At this signature fundraising event, attendees can play bingo to win luxury handbags while supporting the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center. Check the website for individual seat sales.
