Local nonprofit The Warren Center has organized a Christmas in July toy drive for children served by the organization.
Members of the public are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys for children age 7 and younger through July 31. Suggested items include puzzles, building blocks, stuffed animals, trucks, dolls, developmental board games, and arts and crafts sets, according to the center’s Facebook page.
The toys will be distributed to children at the center’s Operation Santa holiday party in December. The Warren Center advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities, according to its website.
Donations can be made one of three ways. An Amazon wishlist allows donors to send toys directly to the Richardson office. The center asks that users choosing this method click “This item is a gift” and leave their name under the “Add gift options” button.
